Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day, and the lilac is blooming.
This reminds me of my childhood. I was 6 or 7 and wanted to bring my mother some flowers, but I had no money for this. I was often outside and knew where some wild lilac was blooming. So I filched two or three branches and my mother was wondering where I got these flowers. But she didn't ask - it was better.
