Many people are practicing the Daily English Practice Tips in the forums. They also post stories, introductions of themselves, and other interesting things. Because they are diligent students and want to get the most value from their work, some students want to have their forum posts corrected. That is now possible! You can choose to have all of your posts corrected. You can have only certain posts corrected. You can choose not to have any of your posts corrected. The choice is yours! But this is the great part...You only pay for corrections! So the fewer mistakes you make, the less your cost will be! Isn't that great? Built-in motivation to write correctly! Here's how it works:
Someone asked me how I count the corrections. I count by word or phrase. For example, if a phrase needs to have the word order changed, I change the entire phrase to red text and count it as one correction. If a verb tense needs to be changed, I change the verb to red text and that counts as one correction. If a sentence needs a comma or period, I make a small blank, like this, _, and count it as one correction. When I review a post after you have made your corrections, if no further changes are needed, it costs you nothing. If I put changes in purple, those count as a new correction. Just so you know, too, if I color some text red, and you think that it should just be omitted and no other word should take its place, you can just put a green blank, like this ___, and then I'll know that you understand that the word should be omitted. |
