A Floating Market
---
By Vu Dang

Have you ever visited a floating market? I don't know since when it has existed in my village, but a floating market is a part of my village's lifestyle.
I live in a countryside where people do not have a modern supermarket like the ones seen in big cities. However, we do have our floating market where people trade their products on small boats. Farmers bring their products directly to the market with their own boats and sell them at a very reasonable price. You can find anything in the family of vegetables, flowers, fruits or even some kinds of nuts.
To show their products, the sellers just need to hang them on the top of a long stick and fix it right on the boat. Hence, you can find anything in the market just by looking up in the air. The market starts very early in the morning about 5 am and it usually lasts until noon. People can negotiate the price before deciding to buy things and they only can pay cash. This market is a great place to buy groceries since we always find products of good quality and very good deals.
