Can you easily understand the English phrases in this dialogue?

Arthur: (answering his office phone) "Hello? Oh, hi Amy."

Amy: "Hi Arthur! Hey, sorry to bother you at the office, but that new movie is starting at the theater tonight and I wondered if you wanted to meet me there when you get out of work."

Arthur: "I don't think I'll have the energy. Mr. Johnson is barking orders at me right and left, and the phone's been ringing off the hook all day."

Amy: "Oh, I'm sorry you're having a hard day. Never mind the movie. Just try to have a good afternoon, and when you get home we'll have your favorite dinner...peanut butter and jelly sandwiches."
