Our Interactive Learning Website

This page gives just a slight overview of our Members Only webpages. We're very excited to offer you these interesting, interactive ways to improve your English. We believe you can spend many entertaining hours in these pages, exploring, reading, listening, and enjoying the wide variety of content! You know what? You might not even realize that you're studying and learning!

There are 5 membership levels to be sure you can have a tailor-made experience as you study. Most levels include writing correction, discounts on discussions (up to 25%), and a fun weekly meeting called a Coffee Club meetup. These will be fun times for friends to meet together in our virtual coffee shop and practice casual conversation. The flow of the conversation will determine the topic. As always, corrections will be typed in the Skype chat window for you to review as we go along, or afterwards. Each Coffee Club meetup will also be recorded. This website will remain a work in progress, meaning that new pages will be added week by week, so you'll never run out of material to study and enjoy.

Holidays
ELE has been featuring daily, weekly and monthly holidays since February of 2010. Truus scours the internet for the most interesting websites and videos, and Julie writes a short article for each holiday, writing about a direct experience that she's had with the topic of the holiday. Because there is such a wide variety of topics, you'll be exposed to an immense variety of vocabulary words. The other really great thing is that we can offer speakers with many different accents and speaking speeds so you can practice listening.

Starters
Some students will need to begin at a slightly lower level until they get a little more learning "under their belt". That's what this section is for. Truus is an English teacher of beginners in Spain, and she has written these lessons using her expertise in teaching this level of English. Do you know someone who wants to get started in English but they're not sure how? Tell them about Truus's Starters.
