Arthur: "Amy, ever since I got home from work, you've been talking a mile a minute!"

Amy: "I know; I'm sorry. I went out to lunch today and had four cups of coffee. I guess it's all the caffeine."

a mile a minute = very fast

P.S. When I apologize to my husband for talking a mile a minute, he says, "Oh, did you say something?" I guess he just tunes me out.
