Arthur: "Amy, I have great news! We're not going to have to muddle through our lives anymore. I signed up for this great new Internet business, and within just a few days, I'm going to be making at least $1000 each day! It's this really great plan where people end up paying a lot of money before they even realize it."

Amy: "Wow, that amount of money sounds a little too good to be true, and the idea seems a little dishonest. How much did it cost to get signed up?"

Arthur: "Well, it was only $2500, and that includes my full 30 minutes of training and a personal phone call with the staff for 10 minutes each month. Isn't that great? We'll be living it up in a couple of weeks, Amy!"

Amy: "I don't know about this, Arthur. I don't think we'll really be happy living on ill-gotten gains."
