Amy: Arthur, you look like something the cat dragged in! What happened to you?"

Arthur: "Now Amy, I don't think that was a very kind remark. There are a number of reasons that I might not be looking my best."

Amy: "For example?"

Arthur: "Well actually, today Mr. Johnson kept staring at me. Every time he walked past my desk, he just stared at me. Then the new secretary, you know, the one I told you about, started whistling this strange tune every time I walked by her desk. I don't know what was going on!"

Amy: "Poor Arthur! I think you haven't really recovered from your sleep experiment. Just lie on the couch for a while, Dear. I'm sure the actions of your co-workers were all a figment of your imagination."
