as far as I know

How about a lift?

Arthur: "Amy, as far as I know, you're supposed to be at your friend's house by 6:00 this evening."

Amy: "I know, Arthur, but I can't decide what to wear, and my hair just doesn't look right, and I can't find my shoes..."

Arthur: "Yes, dear, I know life is very difficult. Once you are ready, how about a lift? I think it's too cold for you to walk."

Amy: "Oh, Arthur, you're so sweet! Thanks!"

as far as I know = This is what I think, but I may be wrong.

How about a lift? = Would you like me to drive you?
