grab a bite to eat

got to run

Arthur: "Hi, Amy! I'm home, but I only have a few minutes before I have to leave for my meeting with Mr. Johnson."

Amy: "OK, but what about dinner?"

Arthur: "Sorry, I don't have time. Would you like to meet me afterwards? We could grab a bit to eat at that new little restaurant."

Amy: "Sure, that would be great!"

Arthur: "OK, see you then. I've got to run!"

grab a bite to eat = quickly eat a small meal, usually at a restaurant

got to (gotta) run = have to leave right now
