Amy: "Did you stay up to watch the Presidential debate last night? I heard that the moderator posed many questions regarding the economic situation."

Arthur: "Well, I stayed up, but I fell asleep on the couch after a while. I did stay awake long enough to hear each candidate's point of view, though."

pose a question = ask or present a question

point of view = a way of thinking about something
